NYSARC is a non-profit organization that supports children and adults with developmental disabilities. I am currently working with AHRC Nassau and at the Brookville Center for Children's Service as an Educational Systems Coordinator. My job is to aid teachers and students with technological questions and issues. Currently, I will be setting up iPads for the students, teachers and medical staff to use throughout the year. When finding my facility on Wikipedia, I noticed that it didn't have the different people that we partner with. In the red box below, you will see my contribution.
Through out this session, I also was able to create my own Wiki. This particular Wiki can be used for a Spanish 2 class that is learning about the Mayans. On this Wiki is a link to an Interactive Power Point download. The students will use this Interactive Power Point to take in cultural information and vocabulary about the Mayans.
